For some six months Cathy has been our key supporter in managing my wife's descent into dementia problems. 30+ years of nursing experience qualifies her for an informed role as a carer. Kindly, approachable and always punctual in attendance. Flexible and imaginative in responding to all requests. As is usual in giving a reference it is made with no responsibility on our part.

To Whom It May Concern Re: Cathryn F Cathy has been known to our family since last year and she is one of two domiciliary carers who help look after our mother of 93. Our mother has vascular dementia and requires assistance with all her basic needs: help with washing, dressing, and taking medications. Cathy also organises breakfast and makes lunch for our mother. She will encourage fluid intake which has been of particular importance as our mother has had a series of UTI’s recently. Cathy will also encourage mobility and supervises our mother walking with her frame. Cathy is kind and respectful in all ways with our mother and in my mother’s words “Cathy makes me laugh”! They sometimes listen to music together or watch a TV programme and Cathy will encourage our mother in general conversation. We use a daily observations notebook and Cathy competently records her visits. This way we can all communicate and update each other regarding any current needs our mother may have. Cathy has demonstrated total honesty and trustworthiness working here. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience and we do not hesitate to recommend her for competent personal assistance care.
